Women For Change (WFC) is a South African survivor-centred non-profit organisation founded in 2016 to confront and end gender-based violence and femicide (GBVF).
What began as a call to raise awareness has evolved into one of the largest anti-GBV movements in the country, mobilising communities, supporting survivors, and holding institutions accountable.
Today, WFC operates at the intersection of survivor support, digital mobilisation, and systemic reform, driven by one clear belief: awareness alone is not enough. Protection, accountability, and implementation must follow.
